#235 Listing of Kilt on Polkadex orderbook
Hello,
I'm starting this discussion because I love both Polkadex and Kilt and believe it would only make sense for Kilt to be listed on Polkadex orderbook. The Polkadex team recently released a listing guideline to list projects on their orderbook as they are starting to reach out to projects wishing to be traded on Polkadex. Here is the listing guideline : https://polkadex.notion.site/Listing-on-Polkadex-Orderbook-3e49fcf22d52474da86dfa65135615e9
What is Polkadex ?
Polkadex is a fully non-custodial peer-to-peer orderbook-based cryptocurrency exchange for the DeFi ecosystem built on Substrate. It is currently one of a handful of Dexes within the Polkadot ecosystem. Its aim is to become the cexiest dex in Defi meaning having all the best of centralized exchanges and of decentralized exchanges without the disadvantages of both. It provides a cex like experience all while being non custodial which means only you control your money. There is therefore no risk of security breach, Unlike CEXs, Polkadex Orderbook is the first exchange where you can hold your funds without worrying about security breaches. Thereโs no centralized honeypot for hackers to go after, In other words, your funds remain safe and secure in your wallet at all times while being available for trading whenever you need them. It also has no gas fees. For those who are not familiar with Polkadex, I encourage you to go take a look at it here : https://polkadex.trade/ and test out the orderbook here : https://orderbook.polkadex.trade/trading/PDEXUSDT
Opening an XCM connection with Polkadex.
Listing an asset on Polkadex orderbook obviously requires an XCM connection opened from Kilt to Polkadex and vice versa, once this is done the asset could be listed and trading start.
**Liquidity **
In order to be listed on Polkadex orderbook a project needs to provide liauidity for its pair, according to their guideline they currently would require 10k USDT and 10k in Kilt so 20k in total in liquidity for the Kilt/USDT pair which is not a lot considering what regular amms/swaps are asking for.
I'm not a tech guy but the Polkadex community and the team are very open to talking about this and if this gets enough support from the Kilt community, I believe we could quickly list Kilt over there, what do you think ?

KILT is a beautifully crafted project that requires more accessibility. The more exchanges and decentralised exchanges we have the better. I vote in favour of this proposal.
Agree !

Seems like a good match. Kilt offers products that may be of use to Polkadex in the future as well.
Exactly !
